Spring Home Maintenance Checklist...

Welcome, Spring (well, one can hope, at least)…

Here’s a quick update on all things Real Estate:

With interest rates decreasing and demand for houses increasing...we are still seeing a strong market here in Oakland and Macomb counties. It’s not uncommon for houses in the more affordable price bracket to have multiple bids on them, driving up the average sales price. However, in towns like Oakland township...residential sales prices have continued to climb, year over year.

Buying, selling, investing, or improving...it’s also time to revisit your home’s exterior and yard. Now is the time to start planning for the following:

Roof Repairs or New Roof

Chimney Repairs

Gutter Cleaning

Exterior Paint Jobs

Tree Removal & Trimming

Deck Maintenance or Refinishing

Stone, Concrete, or Masonry Work

Driveway Resurfacing

Winter Yard Clean Ups

Lawn Service (Fertilizations, Pest Control, etc…)

Landscape Planning

Mulching

Vegetable Gardening (unless you are like me and the deer make it impossible)

All of this work signifies longer days, warmer temperatures, and loads more sunshine...so, I will take it!
